Project Development

ORSP works with academic and administrative units interested in research or training programs or projects, interdisciplinary or inter-institutional efforts, major equipment procurement, or funding for the construction of new facilities.

Finding Support

ORSP Project Representatives gather information on current and proposed research programs through correspondence and personal contact with government and agency officials, from agency announcements, key newsletters, committee reports, and other publications. Contact Project Representatives directly if you have questions or need advice on proposal preparation.

Join one or more e-mail groups that have been established to disseminate pertinent information to research administrators and researchers.

UM units, including the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR), offer support for research, scholarship, and creative activities in all fields. Consult the Funding section of this web site for links to several databases of funding opportunities, listings of UM sources, as well as alert services
