Proposal Approval Form
Basic Definition
The Proposal Approval Form (PAF) is an electronic summary of information about a sponsored project that is used for internal review and approval. The project team creates the PAF in the U-M eResearch Proposal Management (eRPM) system. The PAF is then routed through university channels for review and approval.
Why It's Important
- PAFs are required for all proposals.
- The PAF is not submitted to the sponsor with the proposal.
How to Comply
Principal investigators must review and electronically sign the PAF before submission of the proposal to the sponsor.
