National Research Administrator Day is September 25

Recognize research administrators for their service.

Each year on September 25, we honor research administrators. If you work with an administrator, treat them to lunch or coffee. If you are an administrator, take a moment to recognize your own accomplishments and to feel pride about all the ways in which you provide valuable support to the University of Michigan research community. If you need a reminder of what research administrators do, look no further.

This national celebration day, created by the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA), was celebrated world-wide in 2015 for the first time.

In honor of this day, ORSP will close from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Monday September 26 to enjoy a tailgate potluck with our post-award partners in Sponsored Programs. We  encourage you to make arrangements now with the appropriate project representative to submit and/or resolve any pressing prior to this time.
