Navigating research administration at the University of Michigan

The offices of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP) and Finance - Sponsored Programs have partnered to provide a collection of training opportunities and professional development resources for research administrators. A number of new initiatives will come under this new program, including instructor-led courses, mentoring and other resources, and job aids.

Introducing a New Course for Newcomers in Research Administration

The Navigate: Fundamentals course is offered to U-M research administrators with less than 12 months of experience. It will consist of 8 full-day instructor-led sessions between October 2015 and March 2016 (four in the fall, four in the winter), culminating with a capstone project to demonstrate success. Learn more about the Navigate: Fundamentals course, and review our Frequently Asked Questions.
