The Find a Research Administrator tool helps connect University of Michigan faculty and staff with research administrators in their school, college, department or unit.
Managing the business aspects of research takes a team of experts. For University of Michigan faculty and staff with questions about sponsored research and proposals, the first point-of-contact should be within their department. Use the Find a Research Administrator search tool (formerly Blue Pages) below to find research administrators by school, college, department or unit.

Search tips
The data that is returned depends on how it is entered in eResearch. For example, “Internal Medicine” or “Int Med” will bring up different results. Use these tips to help with your search:
- Enter the department ID or
- Browse by the first letter of the department name using the alphabet directory.
- To search for Dearborn use “Dbn.”
- For Michigan Medicine departments, use “MM” as all departments start with these letters.
How to make an addition or deletion to the search tool
Additions or deletions to the Find a Research Administrator tool can be made through the eResearch Proposal Management (eRPM) system. The tool pulls information from the eResearch data warehouse and will reflect updates made there.
