Three digital accessibility experts from ITS and the Disability Equity Office will co-present an engaging and practical webinar on digital accessibility designed specifically for research administrators.
This session will focus on how to create and share accessible digital content across the tools most commonly used in research administration. Participants will learn best practices for structuring accessible documents in Google Docs and Microsoft Word, organizing data/budget in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, and composing inclusive emails in Gmail and Microsoft Outlook. Attendees will also learn about available digital accessibility resources on these topics and beyond.
Through real-world examples and live demonstrations, the presenters will highlight common accessibility barriers and provide clear, actionable strategies to create content that is more usable by all. This webinar will equip research administrators with practical techniques to improve clarity, compliance, and inclusivity in their daily work.
