ProposalCentral

The ProposalCentral system is used differently by various sponsors who may require only some, or all, of the information below. Sponsors that use ProposalCentral include American Heart Association, PhRMA, American Brain Tumor Association, CURE Childhood Cancer, Sam Day Foundation, Huntington’s Disease Society of America, and American Cancer Society, among others.

Important Considerations for Project Teams Submitting Proposals to these Sponsors

• The final application in ProposalCentral must be signed and printed as a PDF by the U-M investigator and uploaded to Section 6.3 of the Proposal Approval Form (PAF) worksheet before the required (PAF) is routed to ORSP.   
• The final application in ProposalCentral must be signed by the PI before ORSP is able to sign, if ORSP signature is required.
• For some sponsors, ‘Enable Access’ may be required if ORSP will submit the application in ProposalCentral. This access is separate from adding a Grants Officer or Signing Official. Teams must enable access for Shandra White in ProposalCentral for ORSP to be able to access and approve the application in ProposalCentral.
• Before an application can be submitted by a Project Team in ProposalCentral, ORSP must approve the application in ProposalCentral (which ORSP will do after it approves the PAF).
• ORSP offices close at 5 p.m. EST, regardless of sponsor deadline or time zone.
