Christy Bohensky, Lead, Award Management

Christy Bohensky has been selected as the new Lead Sponsored Project Officer for Award Management at ORSP.  Christy earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and is a seasoned research administration and compliance professional, a certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) by SoCRA. She has nearly 15 years of research-related experience at U-M in roles such as research assistant, Clinical Research Coordinator, and a research administrator at the Medical School, before eventually landing at ORSP in 2019 where she began as an Assistant Project Representative on the government team and progressed to Senior Project Representative. 

Christy has been an active contributor toward enhancing operations and communications for ORSP and the research community through her roles on the RAAC Communications Subcommittee and the ORSP Intranet Improvement Committee, contributing to websites, process documentation, and reference guides. Christy has also trained newer research administrators as a Navigate course Instructor. Her passion lies in helping others do their work well. She is excited to be in this new role at ORSP.
