Daniela Marchelleta, Associate Director, Award Management

We are pleased to announce that Daniela Marchelletta has been selected to assume the newly created role of Associate Director, Award Management. Daniela is an alumna of the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, majoring in Political Science and Communication Studies. Daniela is also an alumna of the University of Michigan’s Law School, where she earned her JD.

After practicing law in California and gaining significant management and process improvement experience, Daniela returned to her home state and alma mater. In 2017, she began working on the government sponsors team within ORSP. In 2021, she was hired as an Assistant Manager.

Daniela has participated on various committees within ORSP, including serving as the lead of the Guidelines and Procedures Workgroup, Chair of the Workplace Culture Committee, and an active member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She has also been a member of the RAAC Communications Subcommittee, where she partnered with members of the research community to enhance and clarify ORSP’s website content and communications. Over the years, Daniela’s peers, along with ORSP leadership, have recognized her with an award for exemplifying ORSP’s core values.

Daniela will report directly to Karen Alameddine, Director, Proposals and Award Management. effective August 8, 2024.
