Session Content

This course takes place in Canvas and via a virtual instructor-led Zoom session. Participants must complete all coursework in Canvas and attend the virtual instructor-led session in order to successfully complete the course.

Participants in this course will be required to engage in a blended learning experience that leverages Canvas for lecture materials, practice exercises, demonstrations and quizzes that must be completed on their own prior to attending the virtual instructor-led session via Zoom. The virtual instructor-led session will cover how to create a multi-year budget and allow participants to ask questions live to seasoned Research Administrator instructors.

By the end of the course, participants will master two to three basic budgets for sponsored projects. They will also receive a collection of job aids and templates to use as a reference for building similar budgets on their own.
