Lora Krueger

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Lora Krueger as the new Manager of the Sponsored Projects Coordinator Team at the University of Michigan’s Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP). Lora is an experienced leader in grant management and project administration, with a strong track record of managing large-scale sponsored projects. Most recently, she served as Assistant Director for the NSF I-Corps Program at U-M, where she managed a $15M, 5-year grant providing entrepreneurial training to faculty and students. In this role, she developed and maintained a comprehensive CRM database to ensure data integrity, oversaw the preparation of annual reports, and tracked performance metrics. Additionally, she cultivated partnerships with over 15 Midwest universities, increasing program enrollment.

Lora holds a Master of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Grand Valley State University. She is eager to leverage her experience to drive operational excellence and support the University of Michigan’s research and sponsored projects initiatives.

Known for her collaborative leadership style, Lora fosters open communication and emphasizes process improvement to enhance team efficiency. Her expertise in grant management, compliance monitoring, data management, and process design, combined with her proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams, will be invaluable in her new role.
