Navigate: Uniform Guidance

Target Audience

The Navigate: Uniform Guidance Cost Principles course is recommended for new or seasoned research administrators involved in the pre- or post-award management of federally-sponsored research projects. This course will focus directly on the Uniform Guidance (UG) cost principles.

Course Content

This course is designed to help you plan and manage your federally-sponsored projects for UG cost accounting principles. During the course, you will learn about the importance of being UG compliant, how to plan for UG expenses, and how to manage the lifecycle of projects with UG expenses on them.

I appreciated learning about the Uniform Guidance and why we monitor these costs. As a new Research Administrator, I hadn't yet learned this. I had heard about it and how important it was but didn't understand why until today. Thanks! - Anonymous
"[The] award management portion provided much-needed information as I have had less formal experience in that area. The instructors provided very useful information." - Contract & Grant Specialist, Medical School
